With $50K we will expand our wetlands restoration and "Garden of Eatin" programs into more needy schools. These programs teach students life skills and how to contribute to the rebuilding of their own neighborhoods.

Make It Right is helping residents of New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward rebuild their lives and community in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. $50K will put us that much closer to completing our goal.

We will use the $50K to include and engage youth in the transition team for our new Mayor. Youth will serve as an intricate part of planning and leading youth initiatives throughout city government; including the development of a Mayoral Youth Council.

With $50K, Save Our Schools NOLA will increase our community training and leadership programs that leverage public school parents and students to positively affect educational equity and excellence for all New Orleans families.

Tulane University Community Health Center (TUCHC) will put the $50K toward construction costs of our new location to expand quality medical services to more patients in a new, healthy environment.
